Last Sunday I went to Clichy XVIII (Paris) with my brother (goblins) and Pierre
I chose to play Bomberman once again:

4 Auriok Salvagers

1 Ancestral Recall
4 Brainstorm
2 Counterbalance
1 Echoing Truth
4 Force of Will
4 Mana Drain
2 Merchant Scroll
4 Thirst for Knowledge
1 Time Walk
4 Trinket Mage

2 Aether Spellbomb
1 Black Lotus
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Pithing Needle
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Sol Ring

4 Flooded Strand
4 Island
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Plains
2 Polluted Delta
4 Tundra

2 Disenchant
3 Kami of Ancient Law
3 Katari, War's Wage
3 Meddling Mage
3 Swords to Plowshares
1 Tormod's Crypt

90 Players, 7 rounds of swiss followed by top 8.

Round 1: William Loos with random U/B/G unpowered
Game 1, I beat with 2 Trinket Mages.
I don't sideboard.
Game 2, he is mildly mana screwed, I combo him.
2-0, 3 points.

Round 2: feature match vs Clement Lemaitre playing U/W/B fish
I combo him game 1
Game 2, I mulligan twice, he has Bob online for a few turns: I am
behind and can't come back.
Game 3, I have T1 LoA, he drops dudes, I Walk turn 4, he casts Spell
Snare, I Drain, he Forces. I can't find a solution to his creatures.
1-2, 3 points.

Round 3: Fabio Bevilacqua - Tyrant Oath
Game 1, we are both fighting for mana with a Top, he casts Oath, I
bounce the Tidespout Tyrant, he oaths again, casts Krosan Reclamation
and goes Will, drops jewellry and Tendrils. Had I known the deck
better, I would have fetched a Crypt with Mage and taken the game.
Game 2, he stifles my Kami of the Ancient Law on his Oath, he gets
Platinum Angel and kills me with it.
1-2, 3 points, I am out :(

Round 4: Tristan Larouanne - 0cc creatures combo
I counter his Cruel Bargains both games and he can't do much while I
keep control until I combo him.
2-0, 6 points.

Round 5: Gregory Penichon - Landstill
I win a 40 minutes game 1, fighting multiple Chalices of the Void.
Game 2, I could play it safe (siding Plow for his Factories), but don't.
He managed to kill me in the 3rd extra turn. I made a mistake on my
last turn: I had had a Salvagers countered the turn before, I should
have cast the second one but decide for the topdecked Trinket Mage (so
if he topdecked Force Spike I can pay for it): he REBs it away and
kills me.
1-1, 7 points.

Round 6: Gerald Albiach - Workshop Slaver
He starts with some bling, Timetwister turn 2, I bounce his Mana Crypt
in response, he then drops Chalice at zero. I take control (it seems
he doesn't run any counters) and combo him.
He concedes game 2.
2-0, 10 points.

Round 7: Antoine - G/B control
Game 1, he tries to mana screw me with Pernicious deed (2 Moxen
destroyed), but I manage to play Salvagers. This helps me fighting his
Braids. I finally get a Trinket Mage to combo him.
Game 2, he plays Null Rod, I have sideboarded the bounce, so I will
have to win with combat damage. I hit him for 2 a turn with a
sideboarded Meddling Mage. He edicts it. I play another one, protect
it and it goes all the way.
2-0, 13 points.

So, that's 4-2-1 and 23rd place.
I am a bit disappointed, but I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as always in Clichy.

Counterbalance is not worth the 2 slots, I am not sure about Top.
