I played the deck below on day one and two, but I scrubed out day 1. Day 1 had
around 153 people at it. Day 2 was a bit different for me. I did actually pretty
decent. I placed 9th out of 90 people. I would of got 8th place if my
tiebreakers were better. I was off by 3% in my tiebreakers from making top 8
which was quite disapointing. Well anyways I don't remember much from my
matches, but I played against the decks listed below:

Round 1: Dry Slaver vs Gifts (2-1)
Game 1: Okay game one I was very nervous due to the fact I was playing another
well known player, Dan Carp. Well to continue with the game. Dan is on the play.
Dan plays I believe it was an Island and passes the turn. I play my land and as
he did I pass my turn. I remember an Underground Sea got into play either he
fetched or just played it. I go to my turn and then play a land and then
adventually getting a sundering titan into play through a tinker and winning the
game due to him getting mana screwed.

* -2 Thirst for Knowledge, -1 Goblin Welder +1 Hurkyl's recall, +1 Red Elemental
Blast, +1 Tendrils of Agony

Game 2: All I remember is losing this game.

Game 3: I won this game by getting a mindslaver into play and then using it. I
remember seeing a darksteel Colossus in his hand. He took 1 off of mana vault
and then he drew into a brainstorm. I cast brainstorm. The draw was Tinker,
Brainstorm, and mana crypt. I put the Darksteel colossus and mana crypt ontop of
his deck. I tinker and "Fail to find" then casting a brainstorm into two lands
and a vamp tutor. I cast vamp tutor getting an underground sea. I then procede
to taping him out and ending his turn. I draw and pass. He drew the underground
sea and passed his turn. We go to time when he passed his turn. It didn't matter
because I ended up pulling off a tendrils for 12 storm and ending the game right

Round 2: Dry Slaver vs Control Slaver (2-1)
Game 1: This was another harder opponent for me to play against. Well anyways
here is how the games went. I believe he was on the play. I am not exactly sure
what he was playing at first, but he eventually got a goblin welder into play. I
ended up tinkering in a Triskelion and then proceeded onto winning this game by
attacking him with the trike. He attempts to Rack and Ruin my Triskelion and
some othe artifact I have in play which I mana drain and just keep on attacking
for the win.

* -1 Goblin Welder, -1 Triskelion, -2 Thirst for Knowledge, -1 Tormod's Crypt,
-2 Merchant Scroll +1 Red Elemental Blast, +4 Leyline of the Void, +2 Lava Dart

Game 2: I lost this game because of my desire to mulligan down to like 5 to try
to get a leyline of the void in my opening hand. He gets an early mindslaver
into play which I end up scooping to because I really had no chance of winning
this game and I didn't want him to see my hand.

* -4 Leyline of the Void, +1 Tendrils of Agony, +1 Triskelion, +1 Hurkyl's
Recall, +1 Empty the Warrens

Game 3: I remember winning this game because of sundering Titan and just drawing
into counterspells. Well anyways my changing of my sideboard, siding out the
Leyline of the Voids proved to be a better idea. I end up casting an early
goblin welder which I just wanted to get him to waste a force of will on, but it
ends up resolving. And then he proceeds to his turn not doing much. I end up
casting a gifts ungiven or tinkering to get a sundering titan and getting that
into play and just drew counters to protect it and winning the game with Titan

Round 3: Dry Slaver vs Pitch Long (0-2)
Game 1: I remember drawing a decent hand, but that really wasn't good enough due
to the fact that he was playing Pitch Long and winning on his 2nd turn.

* -1 Goblin Welder, -1 Mindslaver, -1 Triskelion, -2 Thirst for Knowledge +1 Red
Elemental Blast, +1 Hurkyl's recall, +1 Tendrils of Agony, +2 Trickbind

Game 2: I knew I wasn't going to win this match so I really didn't try that
hard. That's a lie right there I played my best. Well anyways I am on the play
this time. I play a land and pass my turn. He plays his land and then I think
duresses me. He eventually plays some stuff then Mind Desires for 6. He doesn't
get anything that he could win off of. He gets a vamp and vamps. The game ends
up going on for a bit just drawing and passing and what not till I eventually
get a Sundering Titan into play by hardcasting it killing two undergound seas of
his and a volcanic island of mine. I remember having a tormod's crypt in play
which prolonged the game. I ended up getting to attack him once. He topdecks
what he needs and attempts to cast yawgmoth's will and I attempt to crypt him in
response and then he trickbinds it. I wasn't expecting that at all. Well he ends
up winning right there.

Round 4: Dry Slaver vs Ichorid (1-1-1)
Of all things I drew against Ichorid.
Game 1: He ends up having a very good start which I should have lost, but top
decking Demonic Tutor getting tormod's crypt is a very good move. I end up
keeping the tormod's crypt into play and then I end up getting a goblin welder
into play and casting a gifts ungiven getting Trike and Mindslaver and then
using Mindslaver to deck him.

* -4 Mana Drain, -1 Mindslaver, -1 Sundering Titan, -1 Red Elemental Blast, -1
Goblin Welder +4 Leyline of the Void, +2 Empty the Warren, +1 Hurkyl's Recall,
+1 Tendrils of Agony

Game 2: I lost to another desire to mull to get a Leyline of the Void in my
opening hand. Leyline has failed to be drawn in my opening hand which I mulled
for four trying to get. I ended up just doing nothing and him going insane with
Ichorid beats.

Game 3: I don't want to explain. We both misplayed so bad. I end up getting
screwed because of a Root Maze and Chalice for 0. I ended up gifting at some
point in the game for Demonic Tutor, Recoup, Leyline of the Void, and something
that wasn't very relevent at the time, but would have helped. He gives me
Demonic and that other card. I demonic for a leyline of the void and cast it on
my next turn. This prolongs the game so much we end up going to time and drawing
the game. He should have won because he could have cast creatures due to the
land card in his graveyard that gives lands the ability to produce green of

Round 5: Dry Slaver vs Dry Slaver (2-1)

I literally don't remember anything from this match, except for me winning.

Round 6: Dry Slaver vs Drain Tendrils (2-0)

Game 1: He ends up mulling to five. He is on the play. I get an early mindslaver
to see what is in his hand. He drew a land and he had a yawgmoth's will in hand
so I cast it and just played a fetchland and "Failing to find" and casting ak
which he drew nothing. I ended up tinkering in a Sundering titan killing his
entire mana base and attacking for the win.

* -1 Triskelion, -1 Echoing Truth, -1 Thirst for Knowledge +2 Trickbind, +1 Red
Elemental Blast

Game 2: I pretty much did the same stuff in this game as in the first without
the mindslaving. I won using Goblin Welder and Titan attacking him and
countering anything that really was a threat to me. I don't remember like much
else that happened.

Round 7: Dry Slaver vs Stax (2-0)
This game made me very nervous because it could make me into the top 8, which it
didn't matter at the end because my tiebreakers weren't good enough.

Game 1: He is on the play. He ends up mulling to five which is why I won the
game for the most part. He plays a ruby and something else and resolves a goblin
welder and mana vault and tries to play a tangle wire which I counter with a
force of will. I play a land and a mox and pass my turn. He attacked with is
goblin welder on his turn. On my turn I get a tormod's crypt into play and pass
my turn. He attacked with his welder again on his turn. I then proceed on my
turn tinkering in a trike which I ping his welder and him for 2 because he
welded my trike for some artifact in my graveyard and me eventually getting a
goblin welder into play and beating him down with a triskelion.

* -1 Goblin Welder, -1 Red Elemental Blast, -1 Merchant Scroll, -1 Sundering
Titan, +1 Hurkyl's Recall, +2 Empty the Warren, +1 Shattering Spree

Game 2: The game started off very slow. He attempted to resolve a smokestack
which I countered with a force of will. I remember him playing Trinisphere some
number of turns later, but it really didn't matter because I had enough mana in
play already so I let it resolve. The game ended up continuing with him playing
spells and me countering the ones that mattered, although I let two Tormod's
crypts resolve. We ended up going to time and me having to hurry and I drew into
what I needed, Shattering Spree. I Shattering Spree his two crypts and his
trinisphere and me casting hurkyl's on me and play a bunch of spells and then
casting empty the warrens for like 22 goblins and him drawing nothing and me
attacking him for the win.
