The tourney was 4 rounds swiss.

Round 1 - Pierre Troenoatmodjo - zoo
It wasn't a classic zoo: he had efficient creatures (Lions, Dibs, Miner,
Shaman), direct damage but also Force of Will and Arcane Denial. Piet only has
Mox Jet as power 9.
Game 1, I manage to get out and protect Moat. He drops a Dib and starts trying
to hit for 3 a turn. When I am at 8 life, I play Morphling to stabilize, then
Abyss to gain some card advantage. Yawgmoth's Will for the kill.
Game 2, Piet is unable to stop my turn 1 Library of Alexandria, so he pinches
me for 2 a turn with a Savannah Lions. I am at 9 life when I plow it, but Piet
cast Arcane Denial. I am happy to draw 2 extra cards, Mind Twist him for 4 (he
keeps 1 card): 2 Disenchant, Yawgmoth's will and another spell. Next turn I
play The Abyss to be in control. He drops sideboarded Nightwind Glider, so I
have to Force of Will it. I dig through my deck for 2 a turn (LoA) until I find
Morphling to kill Piet.
2-0, 3 points.

Round 2 - Benoit Vreux B/r/u discard
Ben owns all the power cards, he hasn't played T1 for a while and so he chose
an aggressive deck featuring Hyppie, Juzam and pump knight, Duress/Hymn/Mind
Twist, Chains of Mephistopheles and other annoying stuff.
Game 1, I drain one of his 2cc spells, so I can Demonic tutor and play Abyss
the same turn.
He Hymns my Morphling and I have already cast Regrowth, so I think it's okay
since I still have Yawgmoth's Will in my deck. I draw it the turn after, which
is not that good since I don't have enough mana to cast Y's Will and Morphling.
So, I play it (because I am afraid of Ben's discard) and the plan is to
Ancestral, play a land and Regrowth Morphling. But I draw Lotus and 2 Moxen off
of the Ancestral, so I play Morphling and kill him.
Game 2, he goes land, Mox, Lotus, 'Mind Twist you for 4.' I look at my hand
again and show him Misdirection :) That was basically game, but we played on.
I play Abyss (or Moat, I don't remember), so Ben plays a Disk. I Disenchant it,
then Mind Twist him for 2 to get a second Disk and an Infernal Darkness. Ben
concedes some time later.
2-0, 6 points.

Round 3 - Jean-François Defresne - Slivers
Jean-François chose not to play countspells, he has Defense Grid instead.
I lose game 1 after Balance because he manages to play Hibernation Sliver, so
he is able to get all his offense back to his hand.
I sideboard in Moat for Abyss, 2 Blood Moon and 3 Red Blast (to get Winged,
Hibernation and Crystalline Sliver). I get out Blood Moon, we don't do much for
a long while, but I have Tome out, so I am drawing twice as much as him. When I
have 3 Island out, I drop Morphling and kill him.
Game 3, I play Moat, counter his Winged Sliver, play a second Moat. Later on, I
mind twist him, he disenchants a Moat in response, I let it go. I Geyser myself
for a lot to find Morphling and kill him.
2-1, 9 points.

Round 4 (final) - Johnny Michiels - Keeper
Johnny has some excentric cards like Undiscovered Paradise Atog (in the board)
to fight Blood Moon or Chimeric Staff.
Game 1, he gets Sol Ring, then Lotus and go for the throat: he drops Morphling
turn 4. I drain, he forces, I am holding a Force of Will, but no blue card, so
Superman hits the board. I draw -a Force of Will- and play a Tome. Johnny plays
carefully to avoid Pyro or Plow and kills me before I can find a Balance.
I side in the Blood Moon and Scepter.
Game 2, I play a Scepter, Johnny lets it go. Then he twisters, I have no
counter. He walks, then does nothing. I Time Walk, Johnny counters. I let it go
and play Blood Moon, which hits. We don't do much, but I strip a card each turn
from his hand with the Scepter. Then I mind twist to lock him and wait for
Morphling which goes all the way.
Game 3, Johnny goes for an early Phyrexian Scuta kicked, I counter, he FoWs. I
am in trouble (moreover I only drew 4 basic Islands as land, so I can't play
the off-colour spells I am holding). I play a Tome again, Johnny plays a
Morphling. Again, I am holding a Force of Will but no blue card. Next card is
another blue card, useless now. I don't draw Balance and die.
Johnny got me with the Scuta, I had sideboarded out every anti-creature except
a Plow and Balance of course.
1-2, 9 points.

So I take 2nd, Luc Schoonaert is 3rd with his Lich deck.

I am not quite happy with the deck:
- Jayemdae Tome is too slow
- Impulse is not good enough (I sideboarded them all the time); I need Fact or
Fiction instead
- I missed Academy, as it helps a lot to power Yawgmoth's Will
- Blood Moon is good, but I think the deck doesn't capitalise enough on them
with only 5 basic lands; it's too slow (especially if you compare with Back to
Basics in mono-blue)
- I might go back to 27 mana sources.
- a second Morphling would allow for less risky plays, but I am still not sure
it's needed
